How ModuleHire Works

ModuleHire helps you create tailored resumes for every job you apply to — without starting from scratch each time.

Most resume tools ask you to manually rewrite your resume for each application. ModuleHire takes a different approach: it breaks your experience down into reusable modules — individual accomplishments, skills, and responsibilities — that you can mix and match to match any job description.

The core idea

Your experience doesn't change. But which parts of it are most relevant to a given job absolutely does. A product manager applying to a startup needs to lead with different things than the same person applying to an enterprise company. ModuleHire makes it easy to surface the right experience for each application.

How it works, step by step

1. Upload your resume When you first sign up, you'll upload your existing resume. ModuleHire reads it and automatically parses your work history into a structured module library — your jobs, your skills, and your individual accomplishments, all organized and ready to use.

2. Review your module library After parsing, you'll see your experience laid out as modules. You can review what was extracted, edit anything that didn't come through correctly, and add modules for things your resume might have left out.

3. Paste a job description When you're ready to apply for a role, paste the job description into ModuleHire. It reads the description and identifies which of your modules are most relevant to that specific role.

4. Generate your tailored resume ModuleHire assembles a resume using your best-matched modules, formatted and ready to submit. You'll also see an ATS Estimator score — an estimate of how well your resume is likely to match the automated filters that many employers use to screen applications.

5. Download and apply Download your generated resume as a PDF or Word document and submit it with your application.

Why this matters

Many job applications are filtered by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) before a human ever sees them. These systems scan for keywords and formatting patterns that match the job description. ModuleHire helps you put your most relevant experience front and center — increasing the chance your resume makes it through.
