Uploading Your Resume

Uploading your resume is the first thing you'll do in ModuleHire — it's how your experience gets parsed into your module library.

Supported file types

ModuleHire accepts the following formats:

If your resume is in another format (Google Docs, Pages, etc.), export it as a PDF first before uploading.

How to upload

  1. After signing up, you'll be guided through a short onboarding flow. The first step is uploading your resume.
  2. Click Upload Resume and select your file, or drag and drop it into the upload area.
  3. ModuleHire will process your resume — this usually takes 15–30 seconds.
  4. Once complete, you'll see your parsed module library with your work history, skills, and accomplishments ready to review.

What gets parsed

ModuleHire extracts:

Education, certifications, and other sections are noted but not currently broken into modules.

Tips for better parsing

Uploading a second resume

If you have multiple versions of your resume (e.g., one for technical roles, one for management), you can upload additional resumes from your Library settings. Each upload adds to your module pool — it doesn't overwrite what's already there.

Note: Contact information from a new upload will overwrite the contact info in your profile. Review your profile after uploading a new base resume.
