What Happens to My Data If I Cancel?
Your data belongs to you. Cancelling your subscription doesn't delete your account or your content.
What's preserved after cancellation
When you cancel Pro and move to the free plan:
- Your module library — all your parsed modules, jobs, and skills remain in your account, fully intact
- Your generated resumes — every resume you've generated is still accessible in your Applications history
- Your profile information — your name, contact info, and account settings are unchanged
- Your base resume uploads — your uploaded resume files stay in your account
Nothing is deleted when you cancel. You just lose access to Pro-only features.
What changes on the free plan
After cancellation, your account moves to free plan limits:
- Resume generations are limited to 2 per month
- ATS Estimator shows score only (no full breakdown)
- Module editing is read-only
Your existing generated resumes are still viewable and downloadable — the limit only applies to new generations going forward.
Deleting your account
If you want your data permanently deleted, email us at info@modulehire.com with the subject line "Delete my account." We'll permanently remove your account, module library, generated resumes, and all associated data within 7 business days and send you a confirmation.
Resubscribing
If you resubscribe in the future, everything is exactly where you left it. Your module library and resume history are fully restored when you upgrade back to Pro.
